JESSICA HAYES

A graphic designer that specializes in product design and development, with more than twelve years of experience as a collaborative design team member and an outside contractor. In 2006 Jessica was hired as an assistant graphic designer for a private label accessories company in the greater Los Angeles area where she provided design, development, and sourcing for private label goods to retailers. In 2013 Jessica was brought on by Active Apparel where she applied her skills to their broader range of products, and added bags, headwear, and small leather goods to their product lines. In 2016 Jessica began working as a freelance designer providing services to small businesses and start-ups in need of branding and merchandise solutions.

Jessica is currently finishing her third year of undergraduate work at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University where she will complete her bachelors in Business Communications in 2020. Jessica holds an associate degree in Graphic Design from Platt College and an associates degree in Business from North Seattle College. She has been a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society since May 2017.

In her personal life, Jessica is the mother of one young daughter Sierra, who attends Taft Elementary School where she is a parent volunteer. Jessica is currently serving as both Secretary of the Board to the Taft Elementary School PTA and Spirit Wear Chairperson.

When Jessica isn’t working with clients, attending school board meetings, or being an enthusiastic Tae Kwon Do and Girl Scout mom, Jessica is indulging herself with recreational photography, attending music, art, and culture festivals, listening to podcasts, and enjoying various day-trips with friends and family.
